Ginetta and Juno show their LMP3 model

After the official announcement of the new-for-2015 LMP3 category, it was expected that the manufacturers interested on the project would present to the public their future models. And the first move was made by Ginetta this week.

As Ginetta Cars acquired Juno, that was one of the companies interested in the LMP3 platform, they revealed the concept of the Ginetta-Juno LMP3, still in early stages of development, as Ginetta team revealed that CFD tests shown positive results. And as Juno is now part of Ginetta, they will have a nice card on their hands in the name of Ewan Baldry, Juno’s founder and former Williams F1 designer engineer.

It won’t be the first time that the Ginetta name is related to Le Mans Prototypes. In 2009, Ginetta’s partnership with Zytek Engineering gave birth to the Ginetta-Zytek GZ09S that ran until 2011 in the LMP1 an LMP2 categories.
