Photo(s) of the weekend

In less than two hours we had emotion enough this Sunday to remember for the whole week, or even more time. This is what I want to show here in the photos of the weekend.

At the tricky circuit of Hungaroring, talent prevailed on equally tricky conditions for the Hungarian Grand Prix of Formula 1

Daniel Ricciardo confirmed his second win of the 2014 season after a thriller in the final laps, where he passed Mercedes briton Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso in two different moves, but still worthy of viewing on TV or paying the ticket, in a clear demonstration the Australian has skill enough for a title. It was great to see the victory contenders one right behind the other, while Nico Rosberg tried to approach them, fighting for victory at every part of the circuit.

The other one comes from the Ardennes-based Spa-Francorchamps circuit, where a common scene was seen once again.

Audi has lifted another GT trophy with their R8 LMS Ultra model as the W Racing Team won the equally thrilling 24 Hours of Spa, with the number 1 car driven by Laurens Vanthoor, Rene Rast and Markus Winkelhock, but although the winning car was driven in a consistent manner, it wasn't an easy task be the first to get the checkered. The equally Belgium-based Marc VDS Team posed a real good threat to Vincent Vosse & friends' winning ambitions. The number 77 car, driven by Lucas Luhr, Markus Palttala and Dirk Werner didn't let the WRT guys breathe, and only in the final minutes the WRT car was able to open a gap. W Racing Team got the third position too, with the number 3 car, driven by Christopher Mies, Frank Stippler and James Nash.

Audi, and WRT get back to the top step of the podium after winning the Spa 24 Hours in 2012, with the same Rene Rast, but accompanied of Frank Stippler and Andrea Piccini. Detail that WRT won Blancpain Endurance Championship Drivers and Teams title that year.
