Today an announcement was made in Le Mans about a new LMP coupé project, to hit the road in 2016, in substitution to the famed Z11SN open cockpit model, still in use.
No further details were revealed, but what was confirmed is that the new project will fit in the ACO/FIA'S LMP2 cost cap regulation and it may be suitable for LMP1 shots. The first tests my occur in the end of 2015.
Zytek now joins Honda, ORECA, SMP Racing and ADESS AG in the new LMP2 coupé projects to come.
