Yeah, german Christian Vietoris looks really happy, and the guy has all the reasons to be like this. He put his No. 5 Original-Teile Mercedes AMG C-Coupé into the top spot this Sunday in Orschersleben, in the second round of the DTM 2014 season. He overcame the current favorite Jamie Green, that was leading and in the pits he misjudged the tyre choice in a wet track, paying the price losing the lead and even crashing in the end of the race.

With Vietoris' triumph, Mercedes wins its first race in 2014 DTM season, what comes as a relief after a disastrous start from the Stuttgart manufacturer in Hockenheim, as well it leaves Vietoris in second place in the standings, with the 25 points he achieved today, just 5 points behind the leader and current champion Mike Rockenfeller.

Next round, on June 1st, DTM leaves Germany for the first time in the season, running on traditional Hungaroring track, in Budapest, Hungary.
